Product information
The certified safety lamp PARALUX® PX1 SHORTY THW in blue color bears the logo of the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief "THW" and is a strong, ultra-compact companion for relief workers of the THW. The lamp is only 110mm long and 41mm wide; together with its low weight of 115g, this all-rounder is perfect for use in restricted spaces and additionally ensures a pleasant wearing comfort on the helmet. The power pack comes with 5-watt Cree-LEDs (80 lumens) and allows a maximum headlight range of 120m over a period of about eight hours without interruption; at reduced power, the two AA batteries last up to 15 hours. The battery status indicator has proven to be particularly helpful in practice and indicates the battery power in different colors (green = ok / red = only 25% remaining). In addition, three short flashes of the lamp (every 30 seconds after a burn time of approx. 8 hours) display a low battery warning signal once the limit is reached. Thanks to its specific orange peel reflector surface, the PARALUX® PX1 SHORTY THW produces a uniform luminous cone – which significantly reduces glaring effects e.g. in smoke-filled rooms. The IP68 certified quality product also impresses users when it comes to ergonomics and long service life, whether with its ergonomic rear switch, which is extremely easy to operate even when wearing work gloves, its easy attachment to the helmet mounting system PARASNAP® or its robust polycarbonate housing.Benefits
